me and my camera

Hi I'm David, I'm 26, based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and have been passionate about photography for the last 15 years. Having first picked up a camera at an early age and a few years later at the age of 11 purchasing my first film camera, I have always strived to control the many variables that go to create great photographs. I am never happier than being behind a lens, this is because photography can offer a completely different perspective of a subject and the creative possibilities are endless. I feel that I have developed my passion into a style that evokes a sense of openness and creativity.

My contemporary approach to both black and white and colour photography has a reputation for delivering distinctive and highly imaginative photography, whilst making the best use of available light to avoid the use of flash.

When I'm on a shoot I like to be aware of the photographs I am going to capture. However there is also a sense/feeling that allows me to keep looking and re-framing, trying to see the scene with new eyes using the skills and experience that I have developed since having my first camera. Photography is my passion and I try to demonstrate that with images I produce.
